AlliSport strive to produce the highest quality products designed to withstand many years of use and we are proud to stand behind these products. However, we manufacture many products and if you make enough of anything, a limited number of problems may be expected. It is how we deal with a problem that is important!
Effective January 2016 onwards, if your product fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use.
Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
The products eligible for warranty are covered to the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Your AlliSport® intercooler may not survive to the ripe old age of 70.
(But we have heard from happy customers whose well-loved and cared for 1999 products are still going strong!)
For warranty evaluation, your product must be returned directly to AlliSport Ltd, Aubrey’s Farm, Bromesberrow Estate, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 1RZ, UK, including a copy of the receipt, otherwise we require an order or invoice number to track it through our records.
All shipping for warranty must be pre-paid and insured and accompanied by reference to the original invoice. We cannot be liable for lost or damaged in-bound packages.
Not all AlliSport products are covered by the lifetime warranty, please check the warranty tab on the product detail page for further info. We will not be held liable for any costs associated with removal and refitting of a product covered by this warranty. You accept these conditions by purchasing the product.

I first bought an Allisport header tank without a sight glass and I did think at the time ‘pity it doesn’t have a sight glass.’ Well when the sight glass model came on sale I went and bought it straight away. My ABS fitted Puma added a twist in installing the tank but Defenders are like that.

I was fed up with the cheapo plastic UFO shaped tupperware tank fitted as standard. Not only did it look rubbish but I found it impossible to check level without opening and dipping. Then I found this! Beautifully made and a level sight to check at a glance. Brilliant!
Expedition Rove –
We used a Allisport tank in our Disco 2 on a previous trip through Central America and it performed faultlessly, unlike the standard ones that kept cracking. So when we got our TDCI Defender we made the same upgrade ( which takes minutes to fit)
It’s been on our Landy now for just over 10,000 miles, cruising around the UK and up into the arctic circle, and just like our old one it has performed faultlessly.

Got the optional sight glass which has eliminated a bad habit of occasionally forgetting to put the cap back on when I check the coolant level!
Definitely recommend and look forward to dealing with Allisport again.

Bought for my 2004 Defender being conscious that the original plastic tank is now “of an age”. Have now done some miles with the tank and I am very pleased with it. It is beautifully made and it is a joy to be able to check the coolant level through the site glass. It is also a comfort to have the back up of the low level warning light as we are going to be off road in southern Europe this summer. An easy fit done at the same time as fitting silicone hoses.

This is hands down one of the best additions to any defender of which it can be installed,
for yrs i wished there was a replacement for that stock POS headertank with a sight gauge!
As always, design and workmanship impeccable.
Installation 10mins (give or take).
side note: The Allisport caps with relief valve complete the package.
