Replacement alloy header tank for Lotus Excel SE.
Lifetime warranty*
Designed and manufactured using an original steel pattern as a pattern.
Fabricated using lightweight corrosion resistant aluminium, rolled and TIG welded by hand in house and supplied with stainless steel mounting threads.
Twin chamber design, accepts standard style bayonet type radiator cap and M8 thread for sensor (sensor not supplied). This fitting can be blanked off with an M8 bolt if not required.
Pressure tested before dispatch as part of our ISO 9001 quality management procedures.

AlliSport strive to produce the highest quality products designed to withstand many years of use and we are proud to stand behind these products. However, we manufacture many products and if you make enough of anything, a limited number of problems may be expected. It is how we deal with a problem that is important!
Effective January 2016 onwards, if your product fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use.
Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
The products eligible for warranty are covered to the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Your AlliSport® intercooler may not survive to the ripe old age of 70.
(But we have heard from happy customers whose well-loved and cared for 1999 products are still going strong!)
For warranty evaluation, your product must be returned directly to AlliSport Ltd, Aubrey’s Farm, Bromesberrow Estate, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 1RZ, UK, including a copy of the receipt, otherwise we require an order or invoice number to track it through our records.
All shipping for warranty must be pre-paid and insured and accompanied by reference to the original invoice. We cannot be liable for lost or damaged in-bound packages.
Not all AlliSport products are covered by the lifetime warranty, please check the warranty tab on the product detail page for further info. We will not be held liable for any costs associated with removal and refitting of a product covered by this warranty. You accept these conditions by purchasing the product.

Well made and easy to swap over – but the pressure relief/overflow tank neck is too small for the standard Lotus 110kpa cap and there’s no contact for the coolant level sender earth (easy enough to add a flying lead to earth via the mounting bracket and secure it on a mounting bolt). Be sure to budget for a replacement cap and a bit wiring time if you buy this.
